Take the Journey...
Our writing workshops are collaborative spaces designed to give both emerging and experienced writers a creative outlet.
You will get the pen on the page, set your own pace, and improve your craft through guidance and support. You will also connect with like-minded writers, and many will form bonds that will last a lifetime.
Take the journey, and together we will grow, learn, share, and inspire one another.
A little about me...
I have been a journalist, author, storyteller, and editor on Long Island for over 35 years. After graduating from Binghamton University with a BA in Creative Writing, I worked for many magazines and publications including Newsday, Dan's Paper, the Northforker, Times Beacon Record, Hampton Family, my own weekly called North Fork Living, and too many others to list. I also wrote a local history book Images of America: Long Island's North Fork and published a young adult novel BLackthorn Island.
My passion is helping aspiring writers master their craft, accompanying them down their chosen path, inspiring them along the way. Our facilitators are guides who offer their wisdom, expertise, and most of all, support and encouragement.
Writing is a medium to express in words what is coming from the heart, mind, and soul. It's a creative journey...and we've love to take the journey with you.
